Law degree from the University of Illes Balears (UIB).

Called to the Bar of the Balearic Islands (2003).

He completed the two courses of the School of Legal Practice.

He actively and continuously participates in training courses in the criminal law area. His legal career has been developed entirely in the law firm of Prof. Gabriel Garcías Planas and has always been exclusively focused on specialisation in the criminal area, collaborating and acting personally in a huge number of cases, always in criminal issues.

José María has represented numerous public and also private institutions, defending them in all types of criminal matters: crimes against life and limb, against workers’ rights, against public health, against public finances, embezzlement, bribery, fraud, misappropriation and disloyal administration, among others.

José Maria joined Ramis Abogados in 2023 as head and procedural director of the criminal matters entrusted to our Firm.
